While at Treasure Lake she and her family spent time camping, fishing, and making many unforgettable memories. Lynda worked for Juvenile Shoe Company for 32 years then later worked and volunteered at Treasure Lake Resort for several years. She was a resident of Wheelerville, Missouri most of her life, later Resident in Fort Scott, Kansas.

She graduated from Aurora High School where she was a member of the Marching Band. They had 3 children and 45 years of Marriage before he started their life in eternity. She was united in Marriage to Nathanael Reed Cook Sr. She was born November 13, 1940, in Miller Mo, the Daughter of Frances Marion and Alma Marie Woody. Lynda Mae Cook, 82, of Wheelerville, Missouri was called home on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Freeman Hospital after a long illness.
